Hi. I am a Certified Coach (Integral Coaching Canada, Stages International) walking with others toward healthy, awake growth and personal resilience. I bring an extensive business background, evidence based maps on how people develop over their lifetime, 30 years of dedicated mindfulness practice and a signature style of clarity and light heartedness.
I’ve been privileged with a varied, global career. I learned the inside of the corporate world starting as a junior insurance administrator and culminating in national Strategy roles for a Canadian bank, with stints in IT Sales (Canada, UK). An MBA (Boston University Brussels) led me into change management consulting with corporate, public and non-profit organizations. I trained as a coach to help people live into the aspirations they had on paper. I have been coaching leaders since 2010, and trained coaches with Integral Coaching Canada (2015-2021).
I started practicing mindfulness and meditation in 1994, in response to personal stress and confusion. I have studied with both local and globally renowned meditation masters, done intensive retreat practice, but always grown the skills of mind and heart in the midst of family and professional life. My book, Mind Your Life, is an accessible introduction to the Unified Mindfulness system of Shinzen Young. Since the publication of the Chinese edition (2023), I have been supporting mindfulness communities in mainland China. I have trained Mindfulness Trainers globally through Unified Mindfulness since 2020.
My volunteer work has included New Circles Community Services (former Chair), Up With Women (coaching women at risk of homelessness) and United Way of Toronto (grant adjudication panels).
